Pre-School

Little Owl Pre-School welcomes children from 2 to 5 years of age, to our warm and welcoming setting.

At Little Owl Pre-school each area of learning and development is delivered through planned, purposeful play and through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities. Play is essential for children’s development, building their confidence as they learn to explore, to think about problems, and relate to others. Children learn by leading their own play, and by taking part in play which is guided by adults.

Pre-School is open Monday to Friday 38 weeks of the year. Children attending all day sessions are required to bring a packed lunch.

Morning session 8.45 am – 12 pm
Lunch Club 12 – 1 pm

Afternoon session 1 pm – 3.20 pm
All day sessions 8.45 am – 3.20 pm

There are occasional closure days for teacher training. Parents will be notified of these in advance. In the event of bad weather, we will close if Dry Drayton Primary school closes. Please follow local radio bulletins and the Cambridgeshire County Council website.
